Coming up Friday and wasn't sure if I should stick with Western Basin or move east toward Cleveland. I was thinking of putting in at Lorain or Marblehead. I am not really concerned with catching huge fish but want to put some meat in the freezer. Didn't do so well last time but worked out a few kinks in my system. I am trolling offshore boards and I have reef runners and spoons. Thought we might try some perch if we cant do any good on walleye. Any advice would be appreciated. I was up around middle june and trolled toward rattlesnake.

good advice....i would go straight out just 6 miles from the huron light and troll east to 2 miles west from the vermilion river.......jmo.....good luck

Thank you guys, its a 4hr drive with a 6k boat chasing me and I hate to do it for nothing. I have to get through my learning curve though, and make my mistakes to get good at this. lol Weather says cold front moving in today for 5 miles out, how will that effect things. Anyone recomendations on a marina, I think we might just get a slip and stay on the boat this weekend. Thanks again guys, your help and humble opinions are very much appreciated.
