One to two foot waves
My plan this AM was to set up just SW of Green and troll to the rattles with a wind out of the south and 1'-2' waves. ESE winds of 10-15+ and 1'-3' with white caps called for plan "B". Bounced to the SE corner of Rattlesnake and set up a down wind troll of 2.0 mph. One fish in 5 minutes on Sir Walleye off a 40 Jet back 27' off my starboard Church Walleye board. Then 30 minutes of silence. I was just getting ready to run to the lee side of South Bass because I was not comfortable in the heavy chop while the weather band continued to
say 1 to 2's but both boards pulled back suggesting I should stay. Jager Bomb and Sir Walleye gave me my limit and it wasn't yet 9:30. FYI: I put silver fish scale reflective tape on the backs of the Sir Walleye spoons and a reflective eye on the face. No sheephead and only two junk fish today. Happy Father's Day!
