Put in at Catawba at 5:30AM and headed up to a spot about 2 miles west of North Bass. When I checked Weatherunderground last night the marine forcast called for 2 foot seas.WRONG. 3-4Ft. with a few 5 ft. rollers for good measure.Oh well a day fishing beats a day of work.To make a long story short,we put 9 nice walleyes in the box.Threw back a couple of nice yellow perch.Caught numerous trash fish and overall had a great day on the lake. Most of the walleye hit gold weapons fished pretty high.I was just happy to put some fish in the box today. We had both drift socks out but with the 20-25 knt. wind out of the NW it was pretty hard to slow down my drift for casting.Still had fun and that's what it's all about.
