Thanks for all the info Captain. I read your posts and I just bought some of those tadpoles per your recommendation. I fish around Pelee Island a lot and the water is usually very clear and not very deep. I wonder if they will work being straight down from the boat. How much leader do you recommend? Last weekend we trolled and caught all of our fish (walleye) from behind the boat and not one from a side planer. I belong to the Pelee Club on the northwest corner of Pelee. You can see the club easily form the lake. We have 25 rooms and lots of extras like a bowling alley and pool room. It has been at the same spot since 1883. Great fun! Thanks again.
