Water Conditions and Temp
I am making my second trip to Erie(Catawba) in a couple of weeks. Primary Target will be catch and relase pre-spawn Smallmouth. So the guy from Boston will not be messing with your Walleye population. I am trying to see what the water clarity is like currently and what the temps are around the Islands. Last year we were spot on with water temps in the high 50's but the water was very stained with major silt blooms from a nast storm that rolled throughthe day before we arrived
So any input you have on current water temps i would appreciate itTim D

the temps are in between mid to upper 40's and some areas creeping over the 50 degree mark. the clarity varies mouth of the Maumee river to Bessie is stirred up good. noaa has daily satellite images of lake erie and you can get a birds eye view of the water situation. hope this helps. good luck
