Back to basics
Yesterday we ran the Church Walleye boards with leads of 64' to 105' and only caught one fish on a DHJ 12, red head and chartreuse. DDRR Blueberry Muffin 800 and its shallow litter mate caught some but what was encouraging was we finished the day limiting out running DDRR 800 Purple Demon and Blueberry Muffin back 100+ feet on flat lines with no weight. The other thing different was varying the speed from 1.6 mph to 2.2 mph. with slow turns. We netted 3 Fish Ohio, the largest was a 30 inch prespawn female which was quickly returned to the water so she could complete her task that God put her in Lake Erie and on this beautiful earth to do. FYI: North and south between "E" Can and "D" Can. (No sign of Bryan or his friend but we never stopped looking during the entire trip.)
