Hope to get mine in the water this weekend, still have to break in my main engine and new kicker. Will get some hours on the main engine going out to jig, the first hour is the critical one then I can make some longer runs at higher RPMs for short periods going out to the trolling grounds. Same with the kicker I have to get that first hour on it also then I can kick them both up a notch for short periods until I get them to 10 hours. I never run the main hard anyhow, maybe 2600 rpms . And the kicker was bought for trolling so it will not see strenuous use but run mostly at or just above idle.
