I think a lot of guys use pool noodles. I like these ones from Netcraft that go in a clear tube myself.

Harness holders
Walmart sells them for $9.00. They are Plano snell rig holders. It comes with 18 snell holders and each one holds at least 2 harnesses. Work really well and store away nice.

We use the pool noodles, but we get the ones with the hole in the middle to stuff a dowl rod into to make it stiff. Then just bury the hooks and wrap up and use a bobbie pin to secure it. I find that a thicker noodle is better, you get less line memory.

What type of bag or box do you store all the chunks of pool noodles in?

We just store ours in a small duffel bag. We also use the noodles for our casting rigs. The noodles work great and they are very inexpensive.

I've been using these for the past two years and they work really well. I use the smaller ones for casting rigs and the large one for trolling harnesses. One drawback on the smaller size is that you really need to remove the blade from the clevis before storing, so I use the snap style clevis.

I get the fat noodles mark a line around them with a sharpie then with a sharp knife cut a shallow slit following the mark around the noodle which holds the line in place. Works Great!
