Handlining
The maumee is a casting regimen. Carolina rigs with floating jig heads. Usually 1/2 oz-5/8oz egg weight wights will get ya down. Colors of jigs vary daily & tail color also. Stop at Janns Netcraft off 475 & load up with what ya need. They have the best prices & is right off 475 north of river.

Regulations
In the Maumee , there is a single hook reg from the mouth of Maumee Bay up to the Grand Rapids dam . Handlining would be illegal the way you know it on the big D .
