We stayed here a lot this ice season and were very satisfied they have a $ 45/night fisherman rate and a pretty good breakfast for the money. The manager/staff is awesome too she'll do what she can to help. Managers name is Denelle.
Also stayed at the Lake Erie Lodge in Curtice, OH. Very nice people but kind of pissed me off when they raised the room rate from 35/night to 70/night over a three week period.LIFE'S TOO SHORT TO PUT A PRICE ON FUN!!!

Lodging
We rent our condos at Green Cove Resort right next to Wild Wings.

Lodging in the area may be a challenge this year as there are workers at Davis Besse power staying in the area.

I stayed at the sleep inn and when I woke up in the morning my bed and me were covered in bedbugs, they were everywhere it was the worst experience in my life, I took a cup full if bed bugs to front desk they moved us to another room and refunded my night stay. Also I stay at green cove also but there are no available because of the construction at Davis Bessie and they do not know how long till the work is complete, I guess this is going to be a huge problem this spring because a lot of charters put there clients there.

Look up the place in curtice, think its an econo lodge, corner of teachout, and corduroy, it is attached to a bar and grill, now called Robins nest. Don't know how nice, or bad it is , but see a lot of fisherman staying there. Its a little ways from the reefs, but not to far

Lodging
Call Hi-Way bait and talk to Dwight (Owner). He has several cottages and is VERY reasonable... I think last year it was $35/ night per person... They are full cottages though with kitchens and 2-3 bedrooms and a living area and 2 baths.
