Cleaning fish
Today I was cleaning yesterday's walleye and in the stomach area, not on the meat , was a weird blood spot almost like a vein, now these were all 8# plus walleyes and I usually don't catch these big females and was wondering if this is normal or a concern.

I would say it is just fine. Was it a jack or a hen? Hens will be really nasty looking after they spawn with a whole bunch of little ulcer like spots all over their egg sacks and stomach but none in the meat. It takes a lot of blood to nourish their eggs and to produce milt. I guess I should read a little closer as I see you stated it was a hen. My bad!
