Walleye around the islands?
Going out of Catawba Saturday am, anyone been doing good on the walleye? Planning on trying for eyes first if we can't get em going gonna try for perch. Haven't been out in a few weeks, walleye reports seem a little scarce in this area. Thanks in advance, Rob.

Mud pit is right, got an invite on a charter, went out of Catawba this morning, fished just south of peele. Got a quick limit of very nice perch. On the way back in noticed that the water looked like a root beer float! Was planning on fishing tomorrow, but the reports and water condition have forced me to sleep in! Good luck if your heading out!
