    Default Nice Perch

Went to the Cedar Point Dumping grounds and only caught a few Perch so we moved towards Huron and caught small Perch so we moved to the 33/32 line and caught our limit of nice Perch in about 90 minutes. I used crappie rigs and my friend used a spread perch rig. Hiway bait gave a great count of minnows but they were very small. Are all bait shops selling small minnows right now?

41 33.44, 82 34.02 thats the honey hole drop anchor, bait ur hook, go down, lift up, and fill the cooler. The fish we've been pullin there have been averaging around 9 lbs per limit, and some days around 10. good luck.

You weren't far from us, is 34 out further from shore or closer? We had 17 lbs for a Two man limit. Keep several 8" fish and the biggest about 10.5.

all the bait shops get there minnows from the same place, I think the guy that gets the minnows is call AJ bait. So if one place has small ones they all do.

There is/was a boat that docks at Tibbles that services the area! I can't remember the name on the tank in the boat but it was not A N J. When the pin heads dominate the minnow catch and are sold in almost all of the bait stores I switch to a size 8 hook to help with tearing the minnow in two. Doesn't seem to hurt hookup rate any but you will get a lot more deeply hooked perch that way.
