Crane Creek
Picked up two tickets of eyes in front of Crane Creek today. 9 came on Crawler Harnesses 23 feet back and 3 came on Deep Little Rippers. 15-17 fw and speed was 1.7 mph. A quick shout out to Capt. Mike and Wayne Johnson of Reel Sport Charters for the great trolling 101 trip a few weeks ago. They do a great job of showing you the in and outs of trolling. I went from not catching much before the trip out with them to a day like today..........thanks Reel Sport Charters!!

A little slow
Dan, I like to use 2 oz as a standard and adjust the fb depending on the depth fishing. I fished crane creek yesterday in 4 footers, caught 4 the first 45 minutes then it got too rough. today the lake turned green and caught 6 catfish a bunch of white bass, 3 walleye. marked a ton of fish in shallow water, 14-16 but couldn't keep the bass off. deeper water 16-19 was a waste of time. going to be back out of metzgers at 6:30 and try again in the morning. hopefully the water clears up.

I did also fish crane creek on Friday eve, could get nothing to go on harness,
switched to Husky picked up 2 right away, then added Hot n tot and picked
1 more, switched to RR and picked 1 more. Noticed the green water was
terrible. thanks for the info on the inlines.

Harnesses
Dan,
Just like Prkr314 said I too used inline 2 oz weights. The algae was pretty thick around the area, I especially noticed it in the afternoon. But I not only marked fish under the algae I did pick some up on the harnesses. I was not marking any fish outside of the algae.....coincidence?....maybe......but it was very sunny at the time??? By the way, I only picked up fish all day on the harnesses with Indiana blades and none on single or double willow blades or Colorado blades.
