5-30 night fishing
Another excellent night fishing . had 4 out of towners last night that have never night fished . Long story short , 6 limits in just under 2 hours of nice walleyes in the 20-29 inch range .
This early summer night bite has been nothing short of amazing ... at one point one guy went 6 fish in 6 straight casts.Surprised to see so many big fish still around the west end . Also had an amazing storm front come through to the far north that produced an amazing light show for the crew ..
Good fishing

I've been reading your night fishing reports and would LOVE to do that. But I'm not sure if your actually running a charter. I'm ready and willing.

Thanks anyway fishead. I was thinking you didn't charter. I might start a thread to see if there are any charters that do night trips.

Fish head what are you using for baits? Are you fishing shallow or deep water? In the fall the Walleye come up on the reefs after the shad, is this where we should target to fish? Thanks for a general idea of where to start .

the reef
Are is a good area . I however prefer to fish isolated humps close to deeper water. The reef area with all that structure sometimes can make finding them harder as there is so much structure'
Current areas at night are also your friend night fishing..
As far as baits, Deep lil rippers , floating thundersticks , and floating husky jerks all are outstanding choices..
I prefer water in the 5-10 feet of water on top of the humps.
