jig or troll?
Ok guys, it looks like mother nature is finally going to cooperate this weekend. I'm taking some family members up Saturday to give it a try, so what do you all think, should we troll our small boards or get jiggy with it?

Troll for pigs or jig for jacks. Should be killer either way.

we were up last weekend and the weather sucked and so did the jig bite. there was some guys that did good jigging but that was the exception and not the rule. but we did hear some chatter on the radio and it seemed like the trollers were doing better.
but the weather is nice and looks good for the weekend so i think either one is going to be good this weekend. if you try jigging and your not doing so well you can always switch to trolling. most of the fish we heard about being caught trolling was with short leads, 50 to 70 ft back with rr. and some were being caught with huskies. but dont be afraid to try some longer leads if the fishing is slow.
