    Congrats. WTG. Just a thought. Forget the spreader. Jig 2 poles. Try it.....you'll like it. Keeps balance, presentation, and timing to fine art

    I agree you can also try a diferent color or weight rig on one rod and also try different jig paterns then when you start catching fish you can zero in on what is working remember the fish are there find out what they want

    Default 4/23/13 ~ 3 walleyes

    caught 3 male walleyes today in 10 fow just east of camp perry
    I did tie into 3 other fish but they were not on long.
    fished the late afternoon and had to use the drift sock to slow down the drift.
    jiggin with the john deer purple jigs tiped with a minnow and a stinger hook.
    water was 48'

    Default April 26th ~ Walleye

    we got 7 male walleyes today~!
    one was 26" taken in 8 fow just east of camp perry pier.
    the other 6 were taken in 12 fow just north of Lakefront Marina.
    we were using green jigs and john deer jigs tiped with a minow and yes a stinger hook.
    some of the fish inhaled the jig and yes I think they were hungry.

    got a late start today and could not fish very long.
    caught one and lost one at the boat.
    everywhere you looked ~boats~
    water is still 48'
    fishing north of Lakefront Marina in 12 fow with jigs.
    did see the other boats pickin at them but not the "fever pitch jump in the boat thing".....

    we caught 6 more walleye in 12 fow just north of Lakefront Marina.
    all were milkin males.
    using green jigs tiped with minnow and stinger hook.
    we also caught a white bass, a white perch and a small mouth bass which was released.
    we started fishing at 3pm and went until 9pm.
    water was 56'
