Ok guys if anyone else is going bonkers sitting in the house or driving by the lake looking at the ice and hoping for an early spring like me, lets take a little poll.... place your best guess (date) as to when the first REPORT of a boat LAUNCH will be.... sorry no prize for winning just for fun and games,and to break up the wait a little bit .....my thoughts on the first boat to be reported out weather they catch anything or not will be saturday March 30.

Prediction, well this is kind of a jointed prediction, but I think boats will be out March 10th doing some trolling, I don't believe the jig bit will happen until April 4th. Well that is my prediction shop will be open come March be ready for them. Tight lines fellas

looking at the forecast for the next week and a half, I am starting the think at least the western basin will completely freeze over. Over a week of below freezing temps for highs. Unless we get a very warm March I am thinking we will be lucky to be docking by April 1st.
