Deep water boat ramps
With the current low water and continued westerly and southerly winds forcasted I am in need of a ramp that gives deep water access to lake erie.
I typically use Metzger marsh, or mienkes or sometimes go to catawba state park, or cullen park. Mienkes, Metzger marsh, and cullen park may well be to shallow, does anyone have any good info on other ramps within 25-35 miles of toledo area. I have a 22' Islander with I/O so I need 3' of water to safely make it out to the lake. Thanks in advance.

I used Boiles harbor many years ago, they began having shallow water problems and I stopped going. Read about some shallow issues just a short time back. have these been corrected? Is there any tricks to staying in deep water when comming and going out? Thanks for your input.

go east
Today we managed to get out of Fenwick with the big boats but it wasnt pretty.
Going out this morning rite at the cut by the channel marker lights it came up to 1.8 ft on the sand bar hump. Just creeped out going in and out of gear. Didnt hit going out and when I came in I kept it up on plane well passed the hump. May be better farther east towards West Harbor area. This fall the water table is holding a foot low without wind, then the wind from the west factor just makes it a guess if you make it out or not. West winds today 3-5 ft waves then switched north this afternoon. Didnt here about north winds today, rain thunder and nasty clouds pushed us off the water. Moderated action for walleye and perch today.

Thanks B can man, I assume they have a public ramp there from your suggestion, I have been by there many times but never inside the place.
From yours and others who have suggested them, can I assume they have deep water passage all the way to the lake? Thanks

Has anyone used wild wings or Cullen park in recent days to know if there is ample water to make it out to the lake? Thanks in advance
