Wednesday drifting north of w. sister
After messing around for a few hours east of the island I decided to try something different. Headed about 2 miles north of the island and marked really well. I stayed outside of a small pack of about a dozen boats. I figured them out pretty quick and caught 12 in 1 1/2 hours. Keeping the harness tight around the swing and keep it moving slow then bam, they were on. I made small drifts over a productive group of fish. By the time I left the other boat close to me was pulling them left and right too. It was good to get out on a good bite again. I ended the day with 20 perch out at b can. No size on the perch or I would've easily limited since it was up and down for about an hour.

weeds
Did the weeds move away from the north side of West Sister ?
Bad weeds on Sunday just NW of the island and it went for a few miles east.
Water cleaned up some and no weeds several miles east of the island.

Some weeds but not too many. Nothing to worry about if you're drifting.
