Fished Saturday S of the line, N of Vermillion, Lorain. The waves were about as bad as you could fish inlines in, but we managed...had to make down wind runs until about 10...I tried to troll uphill before that but the boards were flipping over and tumbling. Started out pulling 3 ounces on one side and 2 ounce on the other with colorado harnesses. Started pulling fish on 2 ounce 70 back. I adjusted the set backs and fished the 3 ounce at the same depth and could not pull fish on the 3 ounce...might have been too erratic with the waves, but after 2 passes I swithced to all 2 ounce. Color didn't matter...metallic purple, pinks, spooky ghost, rainbows, etc...no one color stood out. We had quite a few (too many) come unbuttoned until the waves layed down around 10 or so....could be I haven't changed some of the harnesses for the last 5 or 6 trips lol. Very little junk in the area...only one white bass and maybe 3 or 4 sheephead. There are very aggressive fish in the area. I saw more boards get jerked under Saturday than all year. I found one pod and every time we went through we would have a triple or double...good times when you only have 6 lines in. Headed in at noon with 3 tickets. Great day on the lake! What a great year for catching walleyes!

Again, thanks to Jim for the help!
