After putting up with the cloudy water, weeds, junk fish, Canadian soldier hatch and low numbers of walleye, I decided a move was in order. For the time being, if you want to read what's happening, check out the Central Basin form as I will be fishing out of Cranberry Creek Marina east of Huron.
Just to let you know the difference, the only things that followed me were the sheephead. This morning I was done before 9 AM with only 4 sheephead and no white perch or white bass. Went due north out of the marina to 32 FOW and trolled east with white bellied DDRR back 90' at 1.6-1.8 mph. I never got farther than 5 miles from the marina so I have the best of both worlds, great fishing and very little gas burned. Being Sunday it got crowded on the lake but I was gone before that happened. Cannot wait for tomorrow.
