If I'm boring you I apoligize but I cannot say enough about how well the Deep Diver Reef Runners work for me. Even with the east wind, Scottie and I took 11 of the 12 eyes on the DDRR, namely Cheap Sunglasses, Hot Tiger and Bare Naked Lady. What does this tell you? Color really didn't matter. Location, location, location. My GPS plotter screen is covered with icons of caught fish around "D" can the last 3 weeks. Same presentation: DDRRs 57-60 feet back off the side planers out 100 feet at 1.6 - 1.9 mph, usually running down wind doing lazy S turns. The first fish of the day came on a homemade worm harness with a gold colorado blade trailing a "O" dipsey diver on a 3 setting back 64 feet. 8 lb. 27 1/2 in. The rest of the day it produced nothing but junk fish. Tomorrow I am picking up my Bible and heading for Catawba where I feel as close to God as I do to the walleye. See you there.
