Finally got a group of 4 friends to fish with me this weekend. Tried with my brother last weekend, saturday april 28, but we didn't make it out until 7PM and wind, waves, and cold made it pretty miserable. Came in last weekend about midnight with no walleye.

This weekend, we headed out about 7PM saturday eve. Casted weapons on west side of Kelleys Island. Picked up 3 nice eyes in about an hour and then nothing. Headed back in about 10PM.

Left out about 7AM sunday morning. Started south of Round Reef and trolled north towards Niagra Reef. Running Reef Runner 800s off of big boards. Picked up 3 eyes, 1 over 8 pounds, within first 30 minutes still south of Round Reef. 1.7-1.8MPH 70-80 back. Purple and Chartruese colors. Nothing next 2 hours. Switched to casting weapons and drifting a few bottom bouncers with harnesses. Picked up 3 more right away, 1 on weapon, 2 on bottom bouncers. Color didn't seem to matter. One was gold, one was silver, one was green.

Not a great report but this was my first trolling attempt with bags and big boards and my personal best day walleye fishing on my own boat in the 5 years I've been trying.
