Nice to hear from a few of you on the lake today. Got an early start out of Catawba State Park this A.M. but it was still crowded. Ran again to "D" can. First walleye before 8:00. 28.5 in., 8+ lb. Reef Runner Chrome Banana back 57' at 1.9 mph. Two more on the same lure. Any 800 series with chartreuse seemed to work today. Before noon my mate Al Scott and I had over 50 lb. of walleye, four of which were Fish Ohio. It might be several days before the lake even comes close to being as quiet as it was today...wave wise that is. As a point of interest there were over 200 boats out by Crib and Niagara but only a handful within a mile of us as we circled and "S" turned our way to our limit. More later. Happy Easter.
