The Off Shore boards are also good boards but need at least one expensive clip/release upgrade before they are suitable for Erie use.

with one of these for the back clip, keep the orange off shore on the front clip. when a fish takes a board usually the front clip will release and the church clip on back will hold no matter what and your not fighting the board at all. even if it goes under water. and the board will run to the rear of the boat clearing the other lines.
