Walleye Report:
Sat 6-25 Arrived at 1:30 pm fished Cribb reef area trolling worms with 40 tru-jets 1.3-1.9 mph picked up (7) 21-25” eyes

Sun 6-26 Fished West Sister and 2 miles north 5:30 – 12:00 picked up (5) lost 4 at the boat, same program with the exception of spoons on one pole. Evening 1 mile south of Cribb with the headboats, picked up( 5) again on worms trolling 1.2 mph

Monday 6-27 Back to west Sister for am, slow bite stayed until 1pm picked up (3) lost 2, evening D can nothing so back to Cribb and 1 mile south picked up (5) nice eyes trolling, purple worm harness worked best.

Tuesday 6-28 out at 5:30 for Cribb picked up (3) action slow as the waves built, moved to 2 miles off shore even with the Besse tower in 16’ water picked up (5) nice eye’s trolling boards and worms then quite at 11:30 very tough to control the boat in 4’ swells. Home at midnight.

Notes: purple double willows worm harnesses worked well, slow speeds 1.3 or less, went through 17 dozen worms and 100+ sheephead plus countless striped bass and (2) channel cats! Most of the walleye were high in the water column at less than 10’. Fishing is not what it used to be, but the lake is still a great place to fish and we’ll be back next year. Special thanks to Mike for the custom harness, that’s all we used!!!

Good luck to all!
