Perch
Pops ran out today took Grandpa out for the first time this year, getting them old boys out on the water aint as easy as it used to be. They got out at 10am this morning, after gettin the old boy in gear ran out of turtle creek, 3-5's on the way out, headed for west sister heard a little perch bite going on right off the island south east side... slow day 5 hours out.. 49 fish 3 guys, 2.5 million pounds of sheephead, and one happy Grandpa. All the perch were nice size pops said they averaged 9-9.5 inchers. So all in all a victory on the lake look forward to getting back to go out with them soon...
I am suppose to say thanks to the only other guy in the area of the island today for drifting within 10 ft of them while they were anchored...although you seemed nice and friendly next time bring some brews and just tie off to them.. sarcasim

I tried the SE corner of the island yesterday, nothing. We made a quick run over to 'B' can and got into the perch hot & heavy there. The size was not the best, but then again, does size matter?
