I'm glad to hear you're catching fish. I'm having some confidence issues. ☺
I got out to the area between little cedar and Toledo intake. Moved around a few times.
    16 to 19 fow.
Got soaked by a couple of rollers.
Didn't seem like 0-2 ft waves.

    Hardly anything around that area.
Started at 8 and gave up at noon.
    5 fishes.

Nice weather. Slightly rough but would have been nicer with a few in the cooler.

Anyone else fished the intake area?

As the water gets cooler the fish will move closer to shore, and farther west.
    Perch and Walleye alike.
G can is a haul for you if your on the far west.
My honey hole was H can, but G takes it in 2016.
2 foot waves closer to the Jet Express route.
Hope it gets better on the western side soon.

    Thanks waterdog.
This is my second year out. Still have more to learn. Still trying to dock the boat. Going out is easier. ☺

From meinke to G-can is a bit far for me.
As I have more experience, may go out a bit farther.
For now, will stick close to dock.
Will have to wait for the fish to come closer.

Branamauto I have a primary bilge pump and a secondary mounted slightly higher than the primary just in case. Just a thought.
    Thanks Matt

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

My well in this little boat is so small that with the auto float and small 600 gallon pump it fills it up. There is no way yo mount a second pump. The spare is now just a quick clip on and has it own hose.

Default ~perching and gatoring Friday June 2nd 2017

Very nice day on the lake
using shiners and spreaders anchored, gold spinners for the drift
fished at H can, white perch and sheep head (anchored)
fished at G can, 3 yellow perch , 8 white perch, a catfish and sheep head (anchored)
did catch 4 walleye, biggest was 14 inches, and smallest, well see picture (drifting for the walleye)
if you go, bring plenty of worms, those white perch really chew them up.

    Default Camp Perry Today 6/24/17

    Water Dogs~ Perch Report-img_0271-jpgWater Dogs~ Perch Report-img_0269-jpg
Camp Perry was the place to be today.
Saw a large group of boats to the west of H can, so that is where I started.
12 walleye, one 18 incher, lost a keeper at the boat the rest were 12-14 inches.
did catch 1 catfish, 6 sheep head, 4 small white perch, but no yellow perch.
drifting with a bottom bouncer with a gold blade and a crawler, and also a gold erie dearie.
I did see a lot of fish being caught, and returned to the lake.

Default tuff fishing for those yellow perch

    Water Dogs~ Perch Report-img_0296-jpg
33 perch today, very tuff day, G can H can then north to E can.
two of us today , and 12 pounds at the cleaners , very nice quality, but had to work for them.
spreaders, no bling and golden shiners.
the word is everyone had a tuff day, not sure if the storms had something to do with this.
Anyway, come get some and let us know where you got them.
