Took about 5 mins for the water to stop pouring out the plug.

Bought new pump, and a spare set up to just clip to the battery, leaned learned. Spare parts. LOl

Default H can, 30 yellow perch

    Water Dogs~ Perch Report-img_0262-jpgWater Dogs~ Perch Report-img_0260-jpg
Caught 30 yellow perch at H can using shiners, spreaders and not bling.
Late start but done in 3 hours.
Wind picked up at 1:00 pm, but I was done by then.
One walleye, but a short, release unharmed.
No sheep head or white perch~!
Two head boats were drifting, they made 3 passed from H can, so they must have been catching some gators.
Perch are here~! Come get some~!

    Default Perch and Walleye

it has been tuff to get a limit of walleye or perch
I have caught many shorts of walleye, which were returned to the lake unharmed
H can and se of G can have been where I have been fishing
the weather has been making it a challenge due to the north west and east winds
soon, with the warmer weather we can see some perch schooling
If the walleye that I have caught were 15 inches, I would have limited out every time I have been out
    Fish On and tight lines~!

    Default Yellow Perch and Walleye

G can today, 10 walleye, two keepers one 22 and one 18 inches.
4 large catfish, 4 yellow perch, 2 sheep head and 4 white perch.
I use a bottom bouncer with a spreader and two blades, one gold and one sliver, and a night crawler, for drifting.
This bottom bouncer rig catches everything~!
Caught the walleye keepers on a gold erie deerie.
It was overcast, then sunny, then back again.
Drift was .5 to .8 mph, very nice for the lures.
    Back at it soon.
Until then keep it tight so you can feel the bite~1

    Default Perch and Walleye

    Sunday 7/16/18
G can, many perching, and some trolling.
12 nice yellow perch, 15 short walleyes and one keeper.
I think mother nature was telling us to go perching and do not drift~!
The perch are full of mayfly's and I did find a small gobie in one of the perch.
Nice day, will be back soon with some perch fishing in mind.

very calm day on the lake, caught 18 today and had 3 pounds at home cleaned, (wife likes them with the skin off)
caught one white perch, 2 sheep head, and this very nice small mouth (returned to the lake unharmed).
well, a look at the gut pile shows that they are eating some gobies~!
using golden shiners , night crawler, spreader and no bling.
