Fish report Wed.

Launched Bolles Harbor noon asked two boats coming in they got zero. Went southeast of lighthouse fished 15-16 ft. Chartruse jig/florecent yellow plastic and minnow. Purple hair jig and minnow. 2 hrs no hits. water was 55 degrees and pure chocolate mud. Went back towards launch and fished in front of mansion 10 ft and caught 10-12 sheephead same baits. Went in front of Luna Pier 15 ft mark suspended few. Fished 1 hr same baits no hits. Finished the day back at lighthouse was marking fish but again no hits. Wind blew hard but waves about 1 ft. needed two drift socks, 20 ft lund. I'll say again the water in the far southwest of maumee bay is pure mud. Hope this helps someone. I count on this site when coming fishing from 2 hrs away and only get to come 5-7 times a year. Thanks to you guys who post.
