Maumee Bay 4-21-11

Fished maumee bay yesterday. 7ft-9ft of water. We got 7 fish, one short,we had it two times and gave up, had other things to do. GLOW hairjigs did all the damage again in the muddy water........ No boats within a half mile of us again....nice when your not getting swarmed! We had to make 6 drifts over our favorite mudhole. Nice eaters, not as big as last weeks fish!!

I've seen other posts on the Glow Hair Jigs. Wondering where I can pick a few of these up at? I've only ever purchased hair jigs at the Happy Hooker.

No fish caught today in the bay on east side of channel. Did catch 3 on west side of channel between Turtle Island and Light house, 10-11 ft of water. Blade baits. Missed 4-5 more, 2 guys. 5 hrs. total. The fish were caught and missed in last 1.5 hrs in above mentioned local. Tough!! The water was cleaner here than in the bay, by just enough!! 2 is better than a skunk!!
