We fished Saturday from 9am to 3pm and only caught one walleye using purple and black hair jigs tipped with minnows. We tried various spots around little cedar point, both sides of the shipping channel around the lights ranging from 10-15 feet of water but the water was thick with mud sticks and trees! We made the trip up to the east side of the dumping grounds – in view of the triple stacks and found much cleaner water with no takers. At the mouth of the river water temps ranged from 43 to 46 degrees but a few miles out was 40 degrees. We were marking fish. Just couldn’t get a bite. Hopefully some other folks had better luck.
