Went out this morning (Sunday) and started out on the east side of Kelleys in 38' of water. Caught a few small perch about 6" a couple of sheeps and 5 white perch. Moved close up by the Marblehead light house, the water was dirty and tons of boat traffic made it impossible to fish. Heard on the radio about people getting them off of the NW side of Kelleys so we ran out there. Again a bunch of small perch, sheepsheads, and white perch. We fished a total of about 3 hours and didn't catch a single perch big enough to keep. It was also very hot and the bugs were bad so we called it a day.

Yes - the turn around bouy at the end of the channel. Painted red, white and blue. Fishing coordinates of 48n & 10w. Casting to a 8 count. Bouncers on the bottom 1 crank up. Waves were 2-3 feet. fast drift. I was not using a drift sock. Found a small pod of fish and kept working them. 3 - 6 fish each time we drifted through the pod. Pod only about 1/4 mile wide

Fished B can for perch on 7/4. Two men took 30 perch in fishing on basically one pole due to equipment problems. Only fished for an hour and easily could have had our limit but went in b/c we had other things to do on the 4th.

    Default reading charts

Just desk top fishing, and I am trying to find these coordinates on the 14830 chart that you can view on line, I see west sister but dont have any numbers on the map that show the 68 n 10 w, so my question is , what are the numbers for a starting point like west sister and from there how can I measure the distance from that position to others so as to show where you are and where to go. or is there a better chart available for this ?

    Default 7/11 - 7/14

Fished Sat. thru Mon. 7/11 to 7/14 out of turtle creek. Fished 1 to 2 miles N.E. of the turnaround Sat. and caught 11 eyes trolling harnesses behind jets. Most ran around 20 to 22 inches.

Sunday caught 9 eyes fishing 3 to 4 miles right out of turtle creek in 16 to 20 feet of water. Fish were smaller here.

Monday fished turnaround again and caught 17 behind the jets and harnesses.

Alot of reports in camp of guys fishing 16 feet of water out from Davis Besse and limiting on eyes. Mostly smaller fish. They are mainly trolling crankbaits.

Fished (casting) Tuesday 7/14 5:00 - 8:30. 3 miles north of west sister in 30 ft of water. Caught 18 walleye. All on the bottom. Copper and gold blade home made weapons with 5/8 ounce egg sinker. Water was a 2 ft chop. Cast out, count to 20, Reel 2-3 cranks, stop and drag bottom for 15 sec (add a slight jig to it) reel 2-3 cranks, stop and drag bottom, etc.... Still catching them on the swing of the lure. Bite is extremely weird. They are just grabbing it. More like waiting for a dead weight to be on your line. When your rod tip seems heavier, set the hook.
