Attaching the new Fish Hawk
When I ordered the Fish Hawk unit the other day, I called after I was placing the order to ask what they had to hold the transducer and downrigger ball. They dont sell anything to hold the Fish Hawk transducer. What do you all suggest I get? A clamp on downrigger, maybe a short trolling pole or trolling pole and use just the bottom section with a line counter reel? I bought a one pound downrigger ball to use below the transducer, but he said I may want to get a two pound ball as the one pound ball may sway too far back.
Thanks,
Bruce

Juls uses one.Maybe she will respond here.I think I saw she had a short fishing rod holding that ball/transducer.

I went through juls Facebook pictures and after quite a few I did see a pic of her Fish Hawk mounted on a short trolling rod and a line counter reel.

Re: Attaching the new Fish Hawk
I just saw a You Tube video from Bigwater Fishing posted 7.22.20 titled "Measuring trolling speed". It's listed under his Playlists - Bigwater Pro Tips. Ross has a lot of info on his set-up in less than 4 minutes video.
