Witch of November...
We've got a full blown November Gale going on today (Wednesday Nov. 26) through early Friday morning (November 28). Water levels will be way down, getting near low water datum. Possibly lower? Anyone thinking of getting out for the end of the Big Money tournement on Saturday or even Sunday (Sunday the winds get high again) should just end their season now. Waves up to 13 feet in the Western Basin, 19 feet in the Central, and 22 feet in the eastern part of the Central and the Eastern Basin.
Was going to go duck hunting at the Lake marshes tomarrow but decided not a good idea in 35-40mph gusts. Have heard not a lot of ducks flying earlier this week anyway.
Might head up to the Lake tomorow after pheasant hunting to see the low water levels and pick up the rest of the dock furniture. Be half way there anyway, so why not go take a look. If so will take the webcam and have it up live.
Lets hope anyone with a boat still in the water doesn't get damage from sitting on the bottom for 24+ hours.
Kinda an appropriate way to end a strange, unordinary season.
Everyone have a nice, safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving.
Then... bring on the ice fishing in January (hopefully).
