Lorain Walleye

With perfect weather conditions yesterday, i decided to make the trip 18-20 miles NE of the Black River to 66ft-69ft of water. Caught our two man limit of 12 Walleye and 1 bonus Steelhead, then played catch and release with another 15+ Walleye of various sizes.
Largest fish was 25 inches.
Bandits of various colors did the trick. Best speed 2.3-2.5mph, and leads of 100 and 125 back (no weight) yielded more fish versus going down deep with 2oz or 4oz weight added.
Not a boat within miles all day. Bliss
