Same here, Ole fisherman. I have never broken a pole while fishing. Then I purchased several Shakespeare ultra lights and both broke when bringing in sheepshead. I will try out the Ugly Stick light, not ultra light and see how things go before obtaining other poles.
BTW, wow, catching a 10# sheepshead on an ultra light must have been a wild ride!
