New to area
Looking to fish around PIB - Kelleys next week Any tips Is this a good time to fish or will it get better latter for walleye Thanks for any info

May is an excellent month for catching walleye around western lake Erie.Casting or trolling can both be productive if had a few days of stable weather and the water is not too dirty.Look for stained greenish tinge color water.Not crystal clear or chocolate color.

If you are looking around Kelly's try starting at American Eagle Shoal and head north if trolling. There is a red can off the SW corner of Kelly's that is the marker for the shoal. Near that many people cast. Haven't been out yet myself, but there should be fish there by now.
Or try near the ferry lanes south of South Bass on an east/west troll.
