Weekend Fishing

Will be staying at Turtle Point this weekend, taking my grandson out Friday evening around 4:30 and all day Saturday. I want him to catch some fish. I was wondering if anyone is catching walleye casting harnesses around the cans. Might just go after some perch. No matter what, it sure looks like it is going to be a great weekend to be on the lake. I might try the water intake area, I heard that is always a good area to start. Saturday was the last day we were out. Some trollers around the intake area - we only managed one small eye casting. Was no wind to drift. Lots of boats from Little Cedar Point and East down towards Metzgers. Assume perching.
