    Default Swivel or no swivel

I always use swivel snaps on my crankbaits to try to keep twist out of the line. My buddy likes to use what they call a crankbait clip which does not have a swivel. Is there one that's better than the other or is it just personal preference?

Default Re: Swivel or no swivel

I tie a snap to my mono.No swivel. But my leaders have a swivel on one end and a snap to the other end.The snap that goes to my cranks and spoons allow more freedom of movement of the lure.I do have a large swivel tied to my braid that goes to my dipseys.
