Went out early for me (7:00 am) by myself to look for some marks and fish a little. We got 6 last week trolling from Niagara to Green but I headed north between Kelly and South bass. Used a worm harness and kept moving North following the mantra "if you don't see marks, don't fish".

Didn't go all the way to the line but kept moving...didnt find a lot of marks enroute but lots of boats. On the way back trolled spoons and a bandit South to American eagle shoal (red can) some marks but I must of passed about 200 boats between 8:00 and 10:00 am I saw 2 nets out.

Still learning and grinding....and it is a challenge to find them on your own. Sometimes the pack of boats means "they were here yesterday...gone today.

I usually fish 4 hours or so unless with friends, but the consistent bite has got to start soon...next week?
