Evening Bite - Early Morning Bite ?
Fished Sunday morning 8-11am. Tried by Radar Buoy South.....one Walleye and a few Sheapsheads. Tried Hair Jigs/Minnow and Blades, caught the Eye on gold/chart. blade.
Question: Anyone having luck fishing the afternoon- evening, like after 5pm ?
We tried to be fishing by 7am today hoping to find a bite and less boats out between Lighthouse and Turtle Island (was at the boat - LPHC - at 6:30 but had batt. power problem....fixed = late start fishing). Any reports of a bite before 8:00 ? We only saw a few Eyes netted.
Thanks in adavance.............

Saturday was a great day to be on the lake. Started fishing at 9:00 and had only 2 in the box by 11:00. Had several hookups but we would lose them on the way to the boat. Moved several times. Finally found them in 7 feet of water out in front of the State Park. They were on fire. Between 12:00 and 1:00 boated 17 more fish. All very large males. Largest was 26" with an average of 23". Only 1 fish under 20". Purple hair jig without a minnow. Also landed one on a purple worm harness.
So I guess to answer your question, They will bite when they want to if you can find them.
