Spring Night Trolling
I have made several trips out in fall and have enjoyed some night trolling to try and avoid the winds during the day. Does this same bite exist in the spring as well? Headed out later this week and see some calm nights but some very windy days. Any recommendations are appreciated.
Good fishing...

Re: Spring Night Trolling
Fishing Tiger, I will be happy to post the results. If anyone has any recommendations for areas I would be all ears. Areas of most interest are just east or just west of Catawba to act as the wind block from an East or West wind. Most of my night trolling in fall concentrated in the areas off Huron, which may also work with a west wind which hasn't kicked up fully yet. Happy to share via message as well if you would like.

Re: Spring Night Trolling
The spring night bite definitely exists. This past Friday night was great for us in 8-10 fow. 2 limits in an hour. Cover the water column with lures of your choice. We had bandits and P10's out. 1.6 sog. Make sure your boards and boat are well lit up, and go back to harbor when done at slow speeds to avoid other boats.
