Unhappy March 03 afternoon / night Gale Warning effect

From NOAA Weather, Friday morning, March 03:

"LAKESHORE FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 4 AM EST SATURDAY
East to northeast gales of around 35 knots with gusts of 45 to 50 knots and waves of 6 to 11 feet are anticipated in the western basin of Lake Erie this afternoon and evening. As a result, water levels at Toledo may rise to 80 inches above low water datum late this afternoon into this evening. This may cause flooding of marinas and other low-lying areas around Metzer Marsh."

Kinda a repeat of the big flood of Spring 2021 (Memorial Day Weekend?), except the Lake Water level is down from the record highs that year.

This, along with all the chocolate milk flowing in from the Maumme, Portage, and Sandusky Rivers should really muddy up the Western Basin for some time (saw the Maumee yesterday - high flow and really muddy).

    Yuk.

    Update Friday afternoon:
    330 PM EST Fri Mar 3 2023

GALE WARNING IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING

    TONIGHT
Northeast gales to 40 knots becoming northwest to
35 knots. Rain with a slight chance of sleet this evening, then
rain likely with a chance of snow after midnight. Waves 9 to
12 feet subsiding to 6 to 10 feet. Waves occasionally around
    15 feet.

    SATURDAY
Northwest winds to 30 knots becoming west and
diminishing to 10 to 15 knots in the afternoon. Waves 6 to 9 feet
subsiding to 1 to 3 feet. Waves occasionally around 11 feet.

That will have the lake stirred up for a while. I hope to get by boat in by month's end if the weather co-operates.
Hope to get some jigging done.

Thanks for heads up Dave on this NE blow tonight.Just looked at my windsurf and it should be nowhere close to that memorial day flood in 2021.Not nearly as long and as strong.Plus,as you said, the water level is lower than it was in 2021.Plus the boats are not in the marinas yet.
