Re: Walleye trolling gear
I love the eagle claw Starfire downrigger rods for flat lining or use for behind boards. 7'6 is perfect for what I do and I have 8 of them. Okuma Magda Pro reels. The Diawas are better reels for sure but Okumas and Starfire rods will be $100 per setup.

Re: Walleye trolling gear
Re: walleye trolling gear. Welcome to lake Erie fishing. I might be some help and save you some $. I just turned 76 and sold my Starcraft fishmaster 196 as I don't have the stamina and am not sure on my feet. I plan on chartering with the proceeds. I will be selling most of my gear. All of my trolling rods are Daiwa 47LC with wilderness rods in the 7ft and longer, crankbaits are bandits, reefrunners, some minchows, two new 24" drift socks, and much much more. The trolling reels have all been calibrated at 100ft. Everything is in great shape. If interested you can contact me at [email protected]. You are in for a lot of fun!!
