Only ended up with 11 perch today. We were using some very small emerald shiners, in hindsight I think they were too small and the perch were just ripping them off the hook. We started half a mile South of Green Island and caught 3 keepers and a bunch of smalls. Tried North of Green and didn’t get any action. Got 3 more keepers about half a mile West of Green then moved away from the pack. We got 5 nicer sized perch about 1.5 miles north of the Catawba can, we didn’t have to sort through the small perch to get them. It was definitely a grind today, hopefully things pick back up this week.
