My what a difference a day makes. It was beautiful on the lake today.
I decided to try and find a few bigger fish today. The eater size fish are east of Kellys, but I purposely went farther North to the line and worked east of Huron toward the weather buoy. We worked Bandits and Spros hoping for a bigger bite. The most fish came on the Spro Golden Perch at 90 to 120 back unassisted. We caught an easy limit but the fish were still running small. We had one 24, a couple 20ish, but the vast majority were 15 1/2 to 16 1/2. We had 3 shorts and no trash. We were trolling 2.6 to 3 mph.
