It has been several weeks since I have been out and it feels good to be back.
The fishing was much easier before. We fished the line North of the Huron dump. We never did mark any big schools. It was a slow grind to get our limits. There were what looked like shad balls, so that is a good thing.

Whites were our best colors. Spro Madeye 120s in clear flash hollowgram took 3, and Bandit fruit dot took 2, other colors 1 or none. Most fish came 80 to 90 back at 2.4 to 2.7 over 45 to 48 ft of water. We caught most of our fish on the downrigers oscillating spoons between 38 to 42. They caught about 12 keepers and several shorts. The best overall was a small stinger copper wonderbread. second best was a medium stinger in blue bubble. The blue bubble also picked up 4 sheep, but the little wonderbread went trash free.
