We didn't start until the sun was out and bright and the lake was flat. I thought oh no we have missed the bite. WRONG! The bite was going strong.
We were still one of a few boats working deep. It looked like half of Ohio were between South Bass and Kellys. It was nice not having to fight the crowed for a line.
We opted to fish north again. We worked 45 to 50 ft off of Kelly Shoal. There were only a hand full of boats working the area.
The bite was strong and steady of quality fish, most in the 24 inch class. We did get a fish Ohio. It was a big lazy fish and just came slowly to the boat. Not even a surge at the boat. We scooped it, took hooks out. got a quick measure (right at 30) and released it in just a few minutes.

They wanted it fast today. We trolled 2.1 to 2.3 and even then took fish on the fast side of turns.

Our program dialed in fast and specific. We ran multiple Carrot Tops, Parrot Heads, and Copper Clown Bandits all 70 to 80 back.
